Meet our new Readers

Our church services are conducted by church members elected by the membership to a three year term. Our newly elected readers will begin their term this Sunday, September 6. We are looking forward to an inspiring three years.

A little bit about them:

Aaron Dyer - First Reader

Prior to joining this branch church 25 years ago, Aaron served a term as First Reader of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Garland, Texas beginning in 1991. He has participated in nearly every capacity of branch church service: Sunday School teacher, Church Treasurer, Trustee, President, and many committee assignments. Aaron is a lifelong musician, having a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Music from SMU, and is a classical piano virtuoso. He is also a composer and arranger and has written numerous solos for Christian Science church services.

Dana Kuzmer - Second Reader

Originally from Seattle, Washington, Dana, her husband Larry, and son Devin transferred to Texas with Dana’s work at Delta Air Lines.

After a fulfilling career in Reservations; Customer Service at DFW, a new opportunity  was presented.  Upon taking an introductory course about Christian Science nursing she was offered a position at The Leaves, (A Christian Science care facility) in Richardson.  Dana enjoyed serving for 12 years at The Leaves and is a Journal-listed Christian Science nurse.  Traveling to historic places and gardening are her favorite hobbies.
