ABOUT THE SPEAKER | BOBBY LEWIS, CS
My career began as an Outward Bound instructor guiding in the canyons and mountains of the American west. Following religious studies during college and a masters degree in Biblical studies, I served as a chaplain with the Marines for some years. After returning home to Colorado with Natalie & our two girls, I was able to help with the national start up of Americorps/NCCC. Next was an opportunity to work as the Ranch Directors at Adventure Unlimited, and then a lifelong dream come true of opening The Link School (an experiential based high school for Christian Science teens). I then completed a masters in addiction counseling and worked volunteering in the criminal justice system and with community mental health. When the inspiration to serve full time in the healing practice of Christian Science came, it was a blessed call to have the opportunity to answer and truly felt like coming home.
