The subject for this week — Ancient and Modern Necromancy, alias Mesmerism and Hypnotism, Denounced — is called “animal magnetism” or “hypnotism” by Mary Baker Eddy. It refers to a popular but discredited 18th-century theory that Mrs. Eddy condemns as having no basis in absolute divine Science or Truth. What relevance does it have for today? Much! It is an important lesson, and we hope you will join us to learn more. We will be singing hymns 85, 344, and 515 from the Christian Science Hymnal.
